Effective toilet cleaning isn’t about using the most expensive cleaner, it’s about using the right cleaner. So what does Granny use? Vinegar! For a clean toilet without a lot of fuss, just pour a couple cups of vinegar into the toilet before bed, swish it with a toilet brush in the morning, and flush. This simple strategy will sanitize your toilet and remove those stubborn hard water stains too.

Counter-top Disinfectant

2 Tbsp. ammonia

1/2 cup rubbing alcohol

1/4 cup vinegar

water

Put ammonia, alcohol and vinegar in a spray bottle and fill with water. This works especially good for counter-tops but may also be used to clean showers, toilets and sinks. Great for most cleaning needs.

Important tip: NEVER mix ammonia and bleach.
